Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patient histories, physical assessments, and diagnostic testing to determine the most effective treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings clearly to patients and their families, ensuring they are involved in setting rehabilitation goals.
• Implement tailored treatment protocols derived from evaluations and keep abreast of changes in best practices in the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, recognizing and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to the care plan.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure a smooth transition post-rehabilitation, maintaining accurate and timely documentation throughout the process.
• Demonstrate proficiency in time management and productivity, ensuring an accurate patient schedule as well as active participation in marketing activities to promote our services.
• Engage in the continuous development of both personal and team objectives that align with department goals while adhering to industry regulations.
• Take initiative in pursuing professional development opportunities, including serving as a mentor to students pursuing careers in physical therapy.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
