Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional well-being, utilizing standardized tools and personalized interviews.

• Formulate tailored treatment plans based on clients’ unique needs, behaviors, and goals, integrating evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Deliver individual therapy sessions addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions to enhance communication skills, resolve conflicts, and rebuild trust within partnerships.

• Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment plans to match client progress and emerging needs, ensuring responsive care.

• Maintain meticulous client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, supporting clients in acute distress through appropriate therapeutic measures.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and staying abreast of advancements in the field of family and marriage therapy.

• Advocate for clients' autonomy and welfare, empowering them to engage in their treatment processes actively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and experiences. You will be assisting young adults navigating school and work stress, couples seeking to strengthen their relationships, and families looking for effective solutions to interpersonal challenges. Each client presents a unique story, and your role will encompass tailored therapeutic approaches to meet their needs, thus facilitating positive mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Current and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board.

• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy, including individual and couples counseling.

• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills, with proficiency in electronic health record systems.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with clients and peers.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
