Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients presenting with mood disorders, assessing symptom intensity, frequency, and duration to inform treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment strategies that align with their personal goals and therapeutic needs, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families on mood disorders, discussing treatment options and promoting effective self-care practices.

• Monitor and document client progress consistently, adapting treatment plans to ensure they are responsive to clients' evolving needs.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to integrate care and coordinate treatment approaches.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops and conferences to stay updated on the latest advancements in mood disorder treatment.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client records in accordance with legal, ethical standards, and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
