This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide high-quality telehealth services from the comfort of your own space in Hayward, California. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, taking into account the unique physiological and psychological needs of older adults.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on the geriatric population, serving individuals typically aged 65 and older who may face complex mental health challenges. By understanding the nuances of geriatric mental health, you will be equipped to adjust treatment methodologies that account for age-related changes in cognition, physical health, and social circumstances. Many of our patients may also be dealing with coexisting medical conditions that impact their mental health, necessitating a patient-centered approach that prioritizes empathy and comprehension.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing your capability in meeting the needs of elderly patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
