This position provides the flexibility of a remote work setting through telehealth platforms, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify and understand each client's mental health needs, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapy services, including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Approaches.

• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

• Offer crisis intervention support for clients in acute distress, applying your clinical expertise and compassionate approach to stabilize their situations.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives and educational programs aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma in underserved populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at TeamHealth, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our clients present a myriad of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders and relational issues.

Qualifications\n

• Active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport and foster therapeutic alliances with clients.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to support clients from diverse backgrounds and communities.
\n
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for maintaining accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly in community mental health or telehealth services.

• Experience facilitating therapy sessions in a digital format, with familiarity in using telehealth platforms and technology.

• Preparation to participate in ongoing training in evidence-based practices and other therapeutic methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
