Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients, documenting their histories and concerns from the first consultation through to the closure of treatment.

• Assess clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health to formulate comprehensive understanding and actionable intervention strategies.
\n
• Design and implement individualized intervention and recovery plans, taking into account the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and group dynamics.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health specialists, to develop integrated care plans.

• Provide ongoing communication with clients’ primary care physicians and other requisite healthcare providers to facilitate holistic care.

• Identify potential barriers to client recovery and develop strategies to mitigate these issues.

• Support family members and caregivers in understanding and managing clients’ mental health challenges, providing education and resources as needed.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating your capability in various therapeutic modalities.

• Hands-on experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.

• In-depth understanding of psychopharmacology and the side effects of medications prescribed by healthcare specialists.

The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by an enticing sign-on bonus.
