Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Allendale seeking CNC Machinists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and part quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Select and load appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with expertise in operating and setting up CNC machines.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Strong understanding of different materials, cutting tools, and machining processes.
• Ability to perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks) for programming and simulation.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Experience with multi-axis machining (4-axis, 5-axis).
• Forklift certification or experience operating other material handling equipment.
