Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Developing individualized treatment plans, collaboratively established with clients, to address their specific concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma.

• Providing effective individual and couples therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies and therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

• Facilitating support for families to enhance communication and problem-solving skills during challenging times.

• Regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment plans to align with progress and any evolving client needs.

• Documenting therapy sessions accurately in electronic health records, ensuring accessibility and compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Offering crisis intervention support during emergency situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques and mental health resources.

• Staying updated on the latest developments in marriage and family therapy and actively participating in professional training and development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on working with a diverse range of clients, including teenagers grappling with developmental challenges, adults dealing with life transitions or mental health issues, and couples aiming to enhance their relational dynamics. You will be instrumental in addressing various mental health disorders and life stressors, guiding clients towards healthier coping mechanisms and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related discipline.

• Active LMFT licensure in the State of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
