Senior Electrical Engineer - Neurosurgical R&D

Senior Electrical Engineer position focused on designing electrical hardware for neurosurgical consoles within a multidisciplinary R&D team. Responsibilities include circuit design, prototyping, testing, and cross-functional collaboration to develop medical devices that meet regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical components and sub-systems for neurosurgical medical devices
- Conduct prototyping, bench testing, and advanced circuit evaluation methods
- Translate design inputs into engineering specifications and component-level designs
- Create and maintain engineering documentation including Design History files
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Clinical teams on project success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Working knowledge of electrical design process and manufacturing methods
- Proficiency with CAD, CAE, or simulation tools
- Ability to interpret and test electrical designs
Compensation: $77,700 - $129,500 USD Annual
