Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Medical-Surgical, MS/Telemetry, and Telemetry patients, with floating required across all applicable care areas as needed
• Perform interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, including post-MI and pre/post cardiac surgery care
• Manage IV insulin protocols, renal failure care, and pre/post hemodialysis management
• Maintain and manage feeding tubes, chest tubes, nasal cannulas, IV therapy, and wound care
• Participate in holiday coverage as needed; no on-call requirement
• Complete pre-start compliance modules prior to assignment start (RN modules may be up to 5-6 hours; hours may vary and are not billable)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac and/or telemetry experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• First-time travelers welcome provided experience requirements are met
• Candidates must wear navy blue scrubs
• Candidates must be able to shave for mask fit testing prior to start; facility does not provide CAPRs or PAPRs and does not permit travelers to use their own; medical or religious exemptions are not accepted - failure to comply will result in cancellation
• Candidates who live within 70 miles of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this position
• Travelers may not work beyond 1 year continuously at this facility; a 6-month break is required before returning as a traveler

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) experience preferred
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and hemodialysis management

• Opportunity for first-time travelers to gain experience in a structured telemetry environment with no on-call obligations
