Work Environment\n

This position will be conducted in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. Wellpower Outpatient Behavioral Health Center operates from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, creating a dynamic work environment that adapts to the clients' availability and needs. You will become part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team that values collaboration and best practices in mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client needs and develop tailored therapy strategies.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, to address the unique challenges faced by clients.

• Facilitate group, family, couples, and individual therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive environment conducive to healing.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and client confidentiality.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to create holistic treatment plans that support the overall well-being of clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in workshops to stay abreast of current trends in mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Expertise in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-sensitive therapy is highly desirable.

• A deep understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse client base.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to optimize client outcomes.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and relevant technology is a plus.

Preferred Experience\n
