Chief of Staff

City Lifestyle's CEO is looking for a Chief of Staff to act as a force multiplier across the business, family legacy/foundation work, and personal priorities. The ideal candidate is a high-trust, high-context partner who drives follow-through on decisions, filters what reaches the CEO, and represents him accurately when he's not in the room. You'll operate across three lanes: Business - City Lifestyle’s franchise magazine operations, sales-org strategy, and special initiatives. Legacy & Foundation - family governance framework, stewardship trust structure, and philanthropic commitments. Personal - coordinating the intersection of the CEO’s time, priorities, and obligations across all of the above. What You'll Do: Sit in on key meetings, capture decisions, and drive them to closure. Prioritize and filter what actually needs the CEO's attention - protect his time and focus. Own cross-functional projects end-to-end, from ambiguous ask to finished result. Coordinate between executive team members (COO, CAO, VP Growth, etc.) to keep initiatives moving without the CEO having to chase status. Represent the CEO's intent accurately in rooms he's not in. Manage sensitive, high-context work spanning business and family governance. Push back when something doesn't add up - you're a thought partner, not a task-taker. What We're Looking For 5+ years in a Chief of Staff, Business Manager to a Founder/CEO, or similarly broad operating role - ideally reporting directly to a CEO or founder. Demonstrated ability to operate with minimal instructions and high ambiguity. Discretion - you'll be trusted with sensitive business and family information/ Strong written and verbal communication; can represent the CEO's voice accurately. Comfortable moving fast and making calls with incomplete information. Faith-aligned or comfortable operating within a faith-driven culture and value system.
