Job Description
ICU Nurse - Nursing

Schedule:
26-week contract through holidays; 7a-7p / 7p-7a; 3x12s, variable shifts scheduled as needed.

Assignment Details:
Contract Weeks: 26

Requirements:
- License: Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation. Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire. CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
- Preferred: Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire. TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans.
