Early Childhood Substitute Aide

Teachers For Tomorrow places substitute educators inchildcare centers across the Twin Cities metro. As a Substitute Aide, you willsupport lead and assistant teachers in creating a safe, nurturing classroom forchildren ages 6 weeks to 6 years, helping with daily routines, activities, anda clean, organized space.

What you will do

• Support lead and assistant teachers in supervising children and keeping them safe throughout the day
• Help with meals, rest periods, transitions, and structured activities alongside the classroom team
• Set up and clean up learning activities and keep the classroom organized
• Interact with children through play and conversation that supports their social, emotional, and physical growth

What you need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with children in an early childhood setting is preferred, not required
• At least 18 years old, with reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 25 miles to a partner center
• Ability to pass a background check
• A smartphone with internet access for scheduling and communication
