Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies tailored to client needs.

• Carry out thorough assessments of clients’ emotional, behavioral, and psychological status and formulate personalized treatment plans that align with therapeutic objectives.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure clients receive comprehensive care addressing all aspects of their wellbeing.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of therapy sessions, client progress, and treatment interventions in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.

• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development by participating in training and workshops to remain updated on research, best practices, and regulatory changes in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at City of Hope, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, or similar credential.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling is essential.

• Demonstrated proficiency in effectively communicating with clients and colleagues, alongside strong interpersonal skills.

• A commitment to working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

Preferred Experience\n
