You will utilize telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions and maintain consistent communication with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities\n

You will play an essential role in the following:

• Conducting thorough psychoeducation sessions on perinatal mental health, ensuring clients understand their emotional health and available resources.

• Performing assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records, which include daily progress notes, treatment documentation, and discharge summaries.
\n
• Facilitating and leading support groups that encourage peer interaction and shared experiences, enhancing the recovery process.
\n
• Coordinating closely with a multidisciplinary team to establish referral sources and generate intake appointments, expanding our outreach and service impact.

• Participating in case conferences, trainings, and staff meetings to ensure best practices and compliance with JCAHO, Medicaid, and local regulations while actively contributing to the development of service initiatives.

• Offering advocacy support by connecting clients with community-based resources and services as needed.

• Performing additional duties as assigned to improve the quality of patient care and organizational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve helping individuals struggling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and perinatal mental health concerns. You will be responsible for assessing clients’ needs and designing tailored treatment plans that address their unique challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding clients to access essential support systems, ensuring they have the resources needed to flourish personally and socially.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• A valid professional license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party background check.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly those with a focus on perinatal mental health or trauma-informed care, will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with JCAHO and Medicaid compliance standards is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
