Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic services through comprehensive assessments and interviews with individuals, groups, and families, ensuring a personalized approach to counseling.

• Assist in the planning, arranging, and implementation of psychosocial programs tailored to the unique needs of your client base.

• Craft and manage educational and counseling programs, acting as a liaison between the organization and community resources, to meet the psychosocial needs of patients.

• Offer expert advice to clients during critical life events, including pregnancy, helping them navigate associated mental health challenges.

• Build rapport with clients to conduct accurate assessments, leading to effective treatment plans addressing mental, emotional, and physical issues.
\n
• Stay current with the latest psychosocial health research to provide informed recommendations and interventions to both patients and colleagues.
\n
• Perform timely short-term counseling and crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including health education and community health staff, to provide a coordinated approach to patient care.
\n
• Maintain and accurately document patient records within our electronic health records system, ensuring all required assessments and treatment plans are completed promptly.

• Present in-service education meetings and health-related informative sessions for both youth and adult populations, enhancing community mental health literacy.

• Regularly review and ensure compliance with agency policies while upholding the mission and core values of Himanshu Relationship Psychiatry.

• Handle other duties as assigned while maintaining a flexible and proactive approach to your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse populations, including individuals dealing with mental health crises, families affected by trauma or abuse, and patients in need of addiction recovery support. The various challenges faced by our clients require empathy, cultural competency, and a robust understanding of psychosocial dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• Proven experience in providing counseling and mental health services, ideally in a telehealth setting.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients quickly.

• Strong analytical skills for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and evaluating client progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
