About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Sourcing Consultant to join our Wholesale Sourcing Team; supportingCorporate Investment Banking, Wealth Mgmt. and Commercial teams.In this role, you will:Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships of high risk or complexity with significant impact to the business strategyManage suppliers and relationships from a life-cycle perspective with a focus on reducing cost or spend, increasing customer satisfaction, and maximizing business impactEstablish e-business, procure-to-pay, environmental, and Strategic Sourcing cost reduction strategies to continually improve category effectiveness and efficienciesCustomize legal contract language to proactively anticipate technology, market and business issuesControl all aspects of negotiation and set negotiation strategySupport acquisitions including negotiation reassignment on high-risk contractsParticipate in the review of closing agreementsLead projects required to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, as well as educate and act as a resource for Contract Analysts with regard to such issuesEducate Contract Analysts and business partners on risk issues and handle vendor disputesProvide direction and guidance to less experienced staffPartner with business units to issue and evaluate Request For Proposals and to ensure successful implementation of agreementsPartner with business units to ensure standard contracts include corporate requirementsEstablish and maintain a good rapport with executive management, vendors, and third-party lessors or manufacturers to optimize negotiation, savings and service improvements and problem resolutionAct as a focal point for coordinating sourcing efforts across business entitiesRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Sourcing, Procurement experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Extensive experience negotiating and managing SaaS, trading services, wealth management platforms and/or market data providers, rationalizing utilization and developing sourcing strategiesExperience negotiating contracts in support of Capital Markets, Investment Banks, Asset Management or Retail Brokerage. Experience negotiating market data, broker/dealer agreements and other trading-related products and services. Fundamental understanding of contract law, including a minimum of 3 years’ experience drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts.Comprehensive sourcing and contract negotiation experience with suppliers in one or more of the following categories: professional services, technology (e.g. IT consulting and hardware/software/SaaS), financial services industry related products and services.Experience negotiating contracts and sourcing for a large complex organization in highly regulated environment.Ability to project manage deals, including legal, financial and stakeholder reviews.Strong benchmarking and analysis capabilities.Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships Strong customer relationship management skillsStrong analytical skills and high attention to detailJob Expectations:Ability to travel 5% of the timeThis position offers a hybrid work scheduleAdherence to in-office attendance expectationsThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipLocations: Only posted locations being considered11625 N Community House Rd., Charlotte, NC1525 W W T Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC401 S.
