Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center provides an onsite, interactive work environment that encourages teamwork and communication among all staff members. You will interact closely with residents, their families, and other healthcare personnel. We offer a structured schedule, with workdays from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized therapy plans based on comprehensive assessments of residents' physical capabilities and limitations.
• Directly engage with a caseload of approximately 7 residents each day, providing tailored treatments that include exercise regimens, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Document each session thoroughly using electronic medical record (EMR) systems to track progress and adjust therapy plans as required.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations during therapy sessions to measure improvement and adapt treatment strategies effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to create a holistic rehabilitation strategy that ensures optimal patient outcomes.
• Foster a compassionate and motivating environment that encourages residents to partake in their rehabilitation journey actively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The residents you will work with range in age and physical ability, each requiring a personalized approach to their rehabilitation process. Many have experienced strokes, orthopedic surgeries, or debilitating injuries. Your role will be crucial in helping these individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life through targeted physical therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution required; advanced degrees such as a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• Current Virginia Physical Therapy license is mandatory.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for empowering residents through rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of rehabilitation methodologies are essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting is preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge and competence in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and progress tracking will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
