Schedule: 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation or nights availability; scheduling reviewed every 4 weeks based on department needs; variable weekend coverage; staffing ratios aim for 1:4, may adjust to 1:5 based on unit needs

Highlights:

• Specialized oncology unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with endometrial, bladder, renal, ovarian, and cervical cancers
• Advanced oncology treatments including chemotherapy administration, clinical trials, brachytherapy, and CBI procedures
• Telemetry monitoring with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• EPIC charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, and respiratory services
• 72-hour orientation program to support successful onboarding
• 36-bed unit with heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient safety

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of current, acute care Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience (must be actively working in specialty within the last 12 months)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in chemotherapy administration, telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with EPIC charting system required
• Skills in IV therapy, blood product administration, central line maintenance, feeding tube care, PCA pumps, surgical drains, and tracheostomy care/management
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
