This role offers the flexibility of a remote working environment, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing crucial mental health services. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to meet the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of children and adolescents, considering family dynamics and developmental stages.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, adjusting approaches as needed for effectiveness.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy to address various mental health concerns in young individuals.

• Provide family therapy sessions aimed at supporting parents and caregivers in creating a nurturing environment for their children.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive well-coordinated care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and teenagers.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources that can aid in recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health services to children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proficient in delivering individual and family therapy tailored to young clients.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on building rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute effectively to patient care discussions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, reflecting your skills, experience, and contributions to the organization.
