Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, employing various techniques to gauge emotional and psychological well-being.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations that address each client’s individual goals and challenges.

• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions for clients of all ages, addressing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions.

• Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, and resolving conflicts, and building healthier relationships.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Regularly review client progress and amend treatment plans as necessary to adapt to evolving client needs and circumstances.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive, holistic care to clients.

• Be prepared to deliver crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in marriage and family therapy practices and utilize this knowledge to enhance your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work with a broad spectrum of clients, including adolescents, adults, and couples from diverse backgrounds. You will address various mental health issues, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for clients to explore their emotions and develop effective coping strategies. You will play a critical role in their journey towards improved mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Current licensing as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and couples therapy, with proficiency in tailored therapeutic techniques.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document client interactions and treatment plans effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of direct therapeutic experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote therapy delivery will be beneficial, as will the ability to navigate crisis situations effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
