Reimbursement Analyst

Shift Time: Day/Monday- Friday/ 40 hours guaranteed Position Type: 13 Week Contract with possible extension Responsible for providing financial analysis, compiling data, and completing market research ensuring maximum income from managed care contracts with insurance companies and PPO host networks. Skills or Special Abilities: Must have a basic understanding of accounting, auditing, healthcare insurance, and managed care. Must be able to demonstrate analytical skills, and strategic thinking. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in personal computer usage to include work processing, database, and spreadsheet software. Must be able to work independently in handling complex projects and meeting crucial deadlines. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Requirements Must have Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Must have two years of experience in either a hospital or payor/managed care reimbursement environment.
