This position is offered in a remote setting, which allows our therapists to work from the comfort of their own home while also providing services to clients via teletherapy. Our outpatient office supports a professional and collaborative atmosphere, even in a virtual space.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health issues to establish effective, personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques during individual sessions to promote healing and growth.

• Set collaborative therapy goals in conjunction with clients, regularly tracking their progress to adapt treatment as needed.

• Provide teletherapy solutions to accommodate clients' transportation challenges or preferences for virtual sessions.

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation per ethical standards, ensuring that client confidentiality is a top priority.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and collaboration with colleagues to stay updated on mental health trends and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, children, and families, addressing a variety of mental health challenges. Your focus will be on providing culturally competent care for clients from different backgrounds, including individuals of color and those within the LGBTQIA community. Your skills will be put to use across multiple settings, aiming to provide a nurturing environment for healing and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• A current state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.

• At least two years of full-time counseling experience in a similar setting.

• Experience working with a diverse clientele, particularly couples, children, teens, and families, is highly valued.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients of varying cultural backgrounds, especially clients of color or LGBTQIA individuals, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
