The physical therapist role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Lehigh Acres. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical condition and mobility limitations.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on each patient's unique needs, using modalities and therapeutic exercises to address specific conditions.
• Provide direct patient care, demonstrating therapeutic techniques that enhance recovery and functional mobility.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about their conditions, treatment options, and exercises to be performed at home, ensuring they are active participants in the recovery process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and utilize evidence-based best practices in treatment delivery.
• Document progress notes and treatment updates, ensuring accurate and timely communication within the healthcare team.
• Meet business objectives, including patient volume and clinical efficiency, contributing to the overall success of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, pediatric concerns, and sports injuries. This variety allows you to apply your knowledge and adaptability in implementing treatment strategies across different specialties.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited educational institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during treatment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• A history of working in a variety of therapy settings is preferred, particularly in outpatient rehabilitation.
• Experience with specialized treatment techniques or certifications that can enhance patient care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
