Title
Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule
Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45-07:15
Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Assignment Details
Assignment length: 13 weeks minimum
Guaranteed hours: 36-48 per week

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Experience with IV starts
- Telemetry experience preferred
- License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submittal
- Certifications: BCLS (Basic Life Support)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to a diverse group of patients with gastrointestinal conditions and related needs.
- Monitor telemetry patients and interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in post-operative care for GI surgical patients, ensuring proper recovery protocols.
- Engage in patient education and support throughout their treatment process.

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Pre-start lab/testing must be completed within 48 hours after signing
- RTO after booking is not allowed; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing.
