As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify authorized access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.23 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing access badges or passes, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas. Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, coordinate gate access in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
