Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Administrative Assistant

As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative, clerical and project support. This role assists in the overall administration of their assigned department, function or local office.

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
• Greets Company visitors and informs appropriate personnel of guest arrival; assists guests as needed
• Creates, updates and maintains office administration files, both soft and hard copy format
• Performs accounting / bookkeeping tasks such as coding invoices and/or expense reports, creating and receiving purchase orders, and ordering office supplies
• Creates correspondence, reporting and other documents as requested
• Maintains responsibility for the creation and maintenance of databases, spreadsheets and presentations
• Coordinates calendars for meetings, travel and office activities or special projects
• Coordinates the regular maintenance of office equipment
• Scans, faxes, or photocopies documents; sorts incoming mail and prepares outbound mail for distribution
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education

- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Post-secondary experience in business or related field (preferred)

Experience

• 1+ years of relevant work experience in an office support role (required)
