Shift: 24-hour shifts: day rounds and on-call from home

Hours/Week: Variable based on scheduling

Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (must have current certification)

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years NNP experience required (excluding RN experience)

What You'll Do

• Conduct daily rounds on newborns in a new 10-bed Level I nursery
• Attend deliveries when requested
• Stabilize and manage newborns requiring higher care and facilitate transports to Level III NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia
• Provide expert procedures, assessments, and early interventions for newborns
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal neonatal care
• Participate in the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures
• Support the onboarding and training of new staff members as needed

What You Need

• Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (must have current certification)
• 2+ years of NNP employment experience (not including RN experience)
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts with flexibility for on-call duties
• Strong neonatal assessment and stabilization skills

• Prior experience in a Level I nursery setting
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and clinical skills
