Work Environment

This is an onsite position, where you will be working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while delivering essential therapeutic services. Our clinic features a collaborative and motivated team environment, where you will engage with patients in a well-structured space tailored for rehabilitation. Expect a patient volume of approximately two patients per hour, ensuring that you can provide focused attention and quality care for each individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess individual needs, documenting findings meticulously to support ongoing treatment.
• Create and implement personalized care plans targeting specific rehabilitation goals in collaboration with patients.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility, adjusting methods based on patient response.
• Guide patients through progressive strength and mobility exercises, facilitating their recovery journey while encouraging self-management and confidence.
• Regularly review and modify treatment plans based on continuous feedback, patient progress, and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive rehabilitation approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse cases that require tailored rehabilitation strategies, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention to maximize their recovery potential.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in an outpatient setting, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to document patient interactions and treatment outcomes.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, we encourage candidates with additional training or specialty certifications in orthopedic physical therapy, sports therapy, or manual therapy techniques to apply. Experience working with a diverse patient population and a keen understanding of contemporary rehabilitation practices will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
