Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center in Dumont, NJ, where you will collaborate with other experienced therapists and health professionals. Our facility features a friendly, encouraging atmosphere designed to retain top talent and encourage professional growth. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life commitment while serving our patient community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with orthopedic injuries, such as fractures, ligament tears, and joint replacements.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs tailored to each patient's unique needs, emphasizing evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to optimize recovery processes.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and outcomes.
• Educate patients on effective rehabilitation techniques, injury prevention methods, and tailored home exercise programs to maintain health post-discharge.
• Work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of the patient's recovery.
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our services is on outpatient rehabilitation for patients with orthopedic conditions. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes recovering from injuries to seniors seeking to regain mobility and strength. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, specifically in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Expertise in orthopedic assessment and rehabilitation techniques to facilitate patient recovery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient engagement and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic, with a strong background in diverse treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
