Work Environment

Our Alpine location features a modern clinic equipped with state-of-the-art therapy tools and technologies to facilitate effective rehabilitation. Working Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will enjoy a structured work schedule that allows for meaningful interaction with your patients while balancing your professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations using various assessment tools, including tests, clinical observations, and patient histories to design tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and modify therapeutic interventions focused on post-operative recovery, injury prevention, and chronic pain management, ensuring to address specific patient needs.
• Maintain precise and confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, documenting progress and modifications in treatment plans.
• Act as a primary point of contact among patients, their families, and the healthcare team, facilitating discussions around care barriers and treatment expectations.
• Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, rehabilitation responsibilities, and techniques to promote self-management and recovery.
• Collaborate with physical therapy aides and additional healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and those experiencing chronic pain disorders. Your role is essential in empowering patients to regain strength, enhance mobility, and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic conditions and the ability to apply evidence-based exercise techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients and their families.
• Ability to work independently while also thriving as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge of progressive rehabilitation protocols and an ability to develop individualized care plans based on patient feedback.
