Work Environment

This position is an onsite, full-time role based primarily in our patients' homes across Englewood and surrounding areas. You will work a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, engaging directly with clients in their own environments. This setting allows for a more personalized approach as you assess and treat patients in familiar surroundings, which can significantly enhance their comfort and engagement in the recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations, utilizing assessment tools to develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, including tailored therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities, to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
• Engage in routine case reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings to track patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary.
• Deliver educational sessions to patients and their families, focusing on body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise regimens to facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Accurately document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with both state regulations and company standards.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy and participate in continuing education initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base of patients primarily recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will involve individualized care that addresses each patient's unique circumstances, ensuring they can transition back to daily activities and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current and valid physical therapy licensure in good standing in the State of New Jersey.
• A Bachelor's or higher degree (Doctorate or Master's) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise programming is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to foster effective teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working as part of a collaborative healthcare team is highly desirable.
• Additional certifications related to orthopedic specialties, such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or manual therapy qualifications, are advantageous.
• Ability to create dynamic treatment plans in response to patient progress and team feedback.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package that includes comprehensive health benefits (medical, vision, and dental), a 401k plan, and stipends.
