Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history
- Plan and provide nursing care for psychiatric patients; develop and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
- Administer and monitor psychotropic medications; document responses and adverse reactions
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff to design appropriate treatment plans
- Monitor patient safety and maintain a secure environment for staff and patients
- Document all patient information in medical records; follow physician orders and maintain patient confidentiality; complete progress notes and charting

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry experience
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with rotating day/evening/night shifts
