Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history.
- Plan and provide nursing care for patients; monitor medical and emotional status; implement and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Administer and monitor psychotropic medications and other prescribed therapies; assess responses and manage adverse effects.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff to design appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe, secure environment for patients and staff; ensure patient and staff safety.
- Document all patient information on medical charts, follow physician orders, maintain confidentiality, and complete progress notes in the electronic system.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license (NY license only)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry competency/experience
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting, including weekends, night shifts, holidays, on-call and callback as scheduled
