About the Company Ashby Jones and Associates LLC is a leading law firm focused on family and criminal law. The firm provides compassionate, client‑centric legal services in South Carolina. What You'll Do Daily bookkeeping – maintain accurate transaction records, proper coding, journal entries using QuickBooks Online or similar. Account reconciliation – conduct bank and credit card reconciliations, monitor cash flow, maintain accurate balances. Accounts payable/receivable – vendor onboarding, payments, invoicing support, tracking of client payments. Financial reporting – prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to support leadership decision‑making. Regulatory compliance – support tax and regulatory filings, maintain audit‑ready documentation. Trust accounting support – assist with client trust account transactions, reconciliations, compliance as needed. What We're Looking For Financial & bookkeeping systems experience – strong proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, or similar software. Bookkeeping & reconciliation skills – experience with A/P & A/R, reconciliations, month‑end accounting. Trust accounting experience (Nice to Have) – familiarity with three‑way reconciliations, IOLTA compliance. Attention to detail – ability to manage multiple accounts and ensure accuracy and compliance. Professional communication – confident interactions with vendors, clients, banks, and stakeholders.
