Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for clients facing various mental health challenges.

• Engage in individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care while adhering to ethical practice and legal standards.

• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, playing a key role in data management and compliance.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the mental health field, thereby enhancing therapy effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health resources. The caseload may include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, substance misuse, trauma-related issues, and relationship challenges. As an LPC at Healthway, you will play a critical role in improving access to quality mental health care while fostering a supportive environment for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania is mandatory.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or telehealth context, is essential.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and rapport-building skills to engage effectively with a wide range of clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Proficiency in EMR software and related technologies is advantageous.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use treatment, or trauma-informed care are strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
