We are looking for an experienced BCBA to join our Virginia team in an assessment-focused role. This is a great fit for a clinician who enjoys meeting families, understanding each child’s needs, developing thoughtful treatment recommendations, and creating clear, clinically sound assessment documentation.

Advanceable ABA provides in-home ABA therapy, with services also delivered in school, daycare, and community settings when appropriate. Our assessment process is designed to help families feel heard while ensuring treatment recommendations are individualized, practical, and clinically appropriate.

As a full-time Assessing BCBA with Advanceable ABA, you can expect:

As an Assessing BCBA with Advanceable ABA, you’ll play a key role in helping families begin services with clarity, confidence, and strong clinical direction.

You’ll get to:

Conduct Assessments: Complete initial ABA assessments for children with autism and developmental disabilities.

Understand the Child’s Needs: Gather information through observation, caregiver interview, record review, assessment tools, and clinical judgment.

Develop Treatment Recommendations: Create individualized recommendations that reflect the child’s strengths, needs, family priorities, and medically necessary service level.

Build Strong Treatment Plans: Develop assessment reports, goals, treatment recommendations, and supporting documentation that meet clinical and payer requirements.

Support a Smooth Start to Services: Collaborate with internal team members to help move families from assessment to treatment planning and service start.

Use Clinical Judgment: Ensure recommendations are thoughtful, ethical, data-informed, and individualized to each child and family.

Collaborate With a Strong Clinical Team: Work alongside clinical leadership and other team members who are available to brainstorm, review, problem-solve, and support quality work.

We’re looking for a BCBA who brings strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and experience conducting or supporting ABA assessments.

You should have:

• Current BCBA certification required

• Virginia LBA required, or willingness to obtain before starting services

• Advanceable ABA reimburses the cost of obtaining the Virginia LBA

• 1+ years of ABA experience preferred

• Experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities

• Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment-planning skills

• Strong communication skills with families and internal team members

• Ability to complete timely, high-quality clinical documentation

• A collaborative, responsive, and quality-focused approach

• A commitment to doing what is right for each child and family
