Job Description
Title: Tele RN - Step-down/PCU

Schedule:
- Shift: 3x12 Nights, 1900-0730
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Telemetry / PCU / Step-down experience required
- Stroke / neuro and post-cardiac cath care experience required
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Required charting system: EPIC
- Core clinical skills include:
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
- Stroke/neuro care (including post-thrombectomy monitoring)
- Post-cardiac cath / post-MI care
- IV/PICC/central line and peripheral line care
- Oxygen delivery, HFNC, non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP)
- Basic wound care and common step-down procedures

Compliance / Notes:
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
- Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- License requirements:
- IL: license in hand required at time of submittal
- MO: may submit without MO license; MO or compact required before issuance
- Compact: must match permanent residence or be updated
- No local candidates within a 75-mile radius
- Compliance deadline: 3pm CST on the Monday before initial start date
- Labs and modules: labs due 48-72 hrs after signing; online modules required pre-start
- Fit testing: facial hair must allow proper fit testing (may be required to shave)
