Qualifications MTSS-related software systems Google Suite/Docs Q Interactive On track to meet all state requirements for School Psychologist Certification On track to complete or already obtained a Master’s degree in School Psychology, or its equivalent Responsibilities & Duties As part of a team, develop or recommend research-based intervention plans, determine means to progress monitor and interpret data to determine their effectiveness. As part of a team, examine all tiers of academic and behavioral instruction to develop system-level changes to increase academic performance. Provide and administer cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral assessments to students as assigned by the Director of Special Education and Supervising School Psychologist. Consult with school personnel, parents, and outside agencies concerning how to support all students. Evaluate students referred as potential candidates for Special Education eligibility. Interpret results of evaluations to parents, colleagues, school administrators, and other involved people. Attend and schedule REED/IEP/MET meetings as a diagnostic staff member for youth suspected or determined eligible for Special Education Programs and Services. Consult with regular and special education teachers in order to provide them with suggestions for accommodations, modifications, and interventions for neurodiverse children in their classrooms. Provide training and consultation to colleagues and families regarding issues, including but not limited to academic and behavioral interventions and multi-tiered systems of support. Maintain professional competence in the field which may include attending and participating in professional organizations, workshops, and conferences; reading professional journals and other related publications; and additional coursework. With their Supervision School Psychologist, develop a Professional Growth Plan, including objective outcomes, and complete the plan throughout their internship/practicum year Terms of Employment 20 hours/week for 30 weeks during the 26-27 school year 31ff grant funded position Contingent upon passing post-offer background checks Hiring for 2 vacancies #J-18808-Ljbffr
