Overview The Capital Markets Department is seeking an associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our Charlotte office. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents related to commercial mortgage loan securitizations, including pooling and servicing agreements, offering documents, mortgage loan purchase agreements, certificate purchase agreements, placement agency agreements, legal opinions, and related contracts. Manage the closing process for complex transactions. Qualifications 3 to 6 years of relevant experience. Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial mortgage loan securitization documents. Experience managing closing processes for complex transactions. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, teamwork, solid work ethic, and a proactive sense of ownership over responsibilities. For U.S. lawyer candidates: a law degree from an ABA‑accredited law school and membership in the Bar of the United States. Compensation Expected base salary range: $260,000 to $390,000 per year. Additional compensation may include annual performance bonuses and discretionary bonuses.
