Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement duty to warn and mandated reporting processes in accordance with legal and ethical standards to safeguard the welfare of students.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students’ psychological and emotional health, assessing their needs and determining effective treatment plans.
\n
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and other health professionals to devise and execute comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that facilitate student growth and well-being.
\n
• Monitor the progress of students, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and supporting each child’s unique journey towards mental wellness.
\n
• Collect and analyze data related to student outcomes and the effectiveness of various therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Maintain meticulous, up-to-date client records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
\n
• Stay current on the latest research and best practices in the mental health field, applying innovative approaches in your therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will primarily be on students within educational environments, ranging from elementary to high school. You will have the opportunity to address a broad spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges, employing tailored therapeutic techniques to meet the specific needs of each student.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related mental health field is required.
\n
• A current and valid professional license to practice in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• At least 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience, showcasing your competence in handling diverse cases.

• Expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and familiarity with other therapeutic methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively establish rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with adolescent populations in school environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with digital health platforms and online therapy tools will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
