12Volt Application Tech

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Application Technician with a strong background in 12-volt electronics, audio installation, and custom fabrication. This role will support the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of electronic and audio systems across a variety of low-voltage applications. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently on complex system integrations, troubleshooting, and prototype support. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot 12V electronic and audio systems Perform wiring, soldering, tuning, and electrical diagnostics Fabricate custom mounting solutions, panels, and enclosures Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation Conduct system testing and product validation Support prototype builds and product evaluations Collaborate with engineering and product teams on technical feedback Maintain organized documentation and workspace standards Qualifications 3+ years of experience in 12V electronics, low-voltage systems, or aftermarket installations Experience with amplifiers, DSPs, speakers, and system integration Strong troubleshooting and electrical diagnostic skills Familiarity with fabrication tools and custom install techniques Ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with aftermarket electronics installation Custom fabrication or enclosure‑building experience DSP tuning and system calibration Familiarity with low‑voltage system integration Experience working with consumer electronic products #J-18808-Ljbffr Zocalo Recruiting
