Staff Accountant

Charles Joy Executive Search has partnered with a small manufacturing company in the west metro area, to help them find a talented Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will be local to the Twin Cities area. Candidates will also have a completed 4 year degree. Staff Accountant What you will do The Staff Accountant works in a variety of accounting areas including: creating journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, variance analysis and monthly close. Preparation and entry of journal entries in accordance Reconcile general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close Support and process Accounts Payable functions Support and process Accounts Receivable functions Follow company SOP while working within budgetary goals Complete and support inventory accounting Other duties and/or projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field required Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred. One or more years in an accounting position with general ledger reconciliation work Intermediate Microsoft Excel, including: Creating formulas, running reports, spreadsheets and Pivot Tables Ability to interview and work on-site 4 days a week Friendly demeanor with strong verbal and written communication skills Should be detail oriented with the ability to maintain and analyze data accurately and timely Apply today!
