This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule. You will engage with clients primarily via telehealth platforms, supplemented by phone and video conferencing, ensuring accessibility for all. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide personalized counseling services that address a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, relational issues, and trauma. Your expertise will guide clients in developing coping strategies and achieving their personal therapeutic goals.

• Assist clients with everyday living tasks, such as meal planning and cooking, by teaching essential life skills that encourage independence and self-sufficiency.

• Support medication management by delivering prompts and reminders, as well as ensuring timely refills. You will monitor adherence to medication protocols aligned with the specific needs of each program.

• Transport clients using personal vehicles or agency transportation, while also facilitating their understanding and use of public transport systems to attend medical appointments.
\n
• Monitor and report on clients' emotional and mental states, providing regular updates to the care team to maintain high standards of care and ensure the application of appropriate safety protocols.

• Maintain thorough and timely documentation, including client progress notes and mileage reports, in compliance with all organizational and regulatory standards.

• Engage in teamwork by promptly sharing relevant information with colleagues to enhance client care and therapeutic outcomes.

• Promote a safe and supportive environment that encourages clients to take on an increased level of responsibility as they progress in their treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse group of clients ranging from adolescents to adults, each presenting with unique mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in providing culturally competent care that respects individual backgrounds and needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.

• A valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California is mandatory. Note: We cannot accept candidates with an associate’s license for billing purposes.

Preferred Experience\n

• While geriatric experience is preferred, it is not required, fostering a broad opportunity for applicants from various backgrounds.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, to manage documentation efficiently.
