Property Accountant

A top NYC private real estate management firm is looking for a Property Accountant to join their team. If you have retail, commercial, and residential accounting experience , this role offers stability, C-suite visibility, and hands-on involvement in high-impact projects within a collaborative environment. This position is fully onsite at their beautiful Midtown, Manhattan office! Job Responsibilities: Oversee financials for real estate entities Manage bank reconciliations, journal entries, and P&L reports Prepare New York City filings including RPIEs, annual rent registrations, etc. Collaborate with leadership on strategic accounting projects Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting 3+ years’ real estate accounting experience Proficiency in Yardi and Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Salary: $70,000 to $110,000 based on experience.
