Property Accountant

Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus A prominent real estate developer, owner, and property manager is seeking a Property Accountant to join their dynamic team. Excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow within a well-established real estate firm. Responsibilities: Perform monthly closing of books and records, including overseeing reconciliation of operating and tenant security bank accounts. Analyze and reconcile ledger accounts for the portfolio. Monitor and record payment of property taxes. Record year-end journal entries and compile audit and tax work‑papers to facilitate preparation of audited financial statements and tax returns. Participate in the preparation of annual operating budgets. Ensure timely deposit of funds and remittance of payments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 4+ years of accounting experience within real estate. Proficiency working with Yardi software required.
