Senior Property Accountant (JN -072026-85524) Manhattan, New York Salary: USD115000 - USD130000 per annum Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for assigned properties, including variance analysis. Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, bank accounts, and subsidiary ledgers for multiple entities. Oversee CAM reconciliations, rent roll reviews, and tenant account reconciliations. Assist with property-level budgeting and forecasting. Coordinate and support annual audits and lender reporting requirements. Ensure all accounting processes adhere to GAAP and company policies. Collaborate with property managers, leasing teams, and senior leadership to provide financial insight. Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline accounting workflows. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3–5 years of property accounting experience, preferably in residential or multifamily assets. Proficiency in Yardi, MRI, or similar property management/accounting systems. Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets. Thorough knowledge of GAAP and property-level accounting practices. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
