Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching credential in Special Education
- Previous experience teaching or supporting students with special needs
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Enthusiasm for fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
What You'll Do:
- Develop and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning needs and IEP goals
- Administer assessments and monitor student progress, adapting instructional strategies as needed
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of teachers, support staff, and therapists
- Maintain detailed records and participate in IEP meetings and conferences
- Communicate proactively with parents and caregivers about student progress
- Support students academically, socially, and emotionally, ensuring all learners feel valued and empowered
