What we’re looking for:
- Valid CTC licensure for Special Education—Mild/Moderate authorization required
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, especially in elementary settings
- Strong commitment to fostering growth, inclusion, and self-confidence in students with diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, working with both students and fellow educators
- Passion for creating accessible lessons and modifying curriculum to best support individual student goals
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to elementary students with mild to moderate exceptionalities
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and educational guidelines
- Serve as a resource and advocate for your students, ensuring they receive the support and interventions they need
